The Blue Hound app offers essential Bluetooth scanning and locating capabilities for a variety of smart devices, including those from Apple, FitBit, Garmin, and more.
This powerful app allows you to scan and identify nearby devices, offering multiple ways to locate them based on signal strength, heat map, or direction finder.
With Blue Hound, you can easily find your Fitbit and other Bluetooth devices that are paired with your iPhone. If a Bluetooth device is paired with multiple iPhones, simply turn off Bluetooth on the other devices to narrow down your search.
One standout feature of Blue Hound is its constant scanning for Bluetooth devices. When a device is detected, Blue Hound provides detailed information about the device such as its name, maker, and model. This information is obtained from an extensive and regularly updated database of smart recognizers. Additionally, any devices you find can be uploaded to the cloud, allowing you to search for them later if needed.
Blue Hound is particularly useful when paired with Bluetooth tags. By attaching a tag to your keys or drone, you can easily locate them within a range of 100 feet or even outdoors in challenging environments like high grass. This makes it a great tool for finding misplaced or unexpectedly landed items.
Scanning for Bluetooth devices can even be turned into an enjoyable outdoor activity with Blue Hound. Simply take the app for a walk and enable Power Saver Mode in settings. By turning your iPhone upside down in your pocket, the screen will go dark and the app will enter power saver mode without compromising its functionality. You can also choose to receive audio alerts when a new device is found, allowing for a more interactive experience.
